    • Runs / Installed NOTin Service mode
What should NOT be in service mode? IRSS or IMON?

    • IRSS! At installation you have to answer a question if you want to install as service or Porgram (or something like that). And there is also a advice, to install not as Service for Imon/Soundgraph...
[*]Did you set MCE Remote within IMON device (not Microsoft MCE!!!) of IRSS Server?
Not understood. I have set MCE remote in IMON. Theres nothing named Microsoft MCE. Is it in IRSS?
Yes, in configuration of IRSS (Right mouse Button...).

With or within Imon Manager you have only one thing to do: Don't use/run it! ;)
[*]uncheck "Enable Keyboard input" IRSS Server config
Check - Keyboard unchecked. Should mouse input also be unchecked?
well, give it a try ;) actually I don't know...
      [*]Does the debugger react/sends signals?
Debug Client does not react to anything. It connect to the IRSS server but nothing happens when i press the keys on the remote. But windows still acts like if I pressed one of the arrow keys when i press one of the directions buttons on the remote.

well, think the main Problem is that you have selcted the wrong device in IRSS config.

If the Problems can't be solved, send hardcopys or the log files of IRSS, so that there is no missunderstanding

But tomorrow I'm off, so maybe you get faster/better help at IRSS Forum...

I am experiencing the exact same problem. Setup:

    - iMon VFD Retail
    - Harmony One (profiles: MCE remote, Mediaportal, Soundgraph iPad, Soundgraph iPad as MCE)
    - Windows 7
    - MP 1.1.0.0

    (updated drivers etc.)

I tried almost everything and I gave up hope so I ordered a cheap MCE remote control. I am only going to use the IR receiver, this should work better than the with the iMon VFD (I'm still using the VFD screen though).

I am only running IR Server Suite and I am not using the iMon software (because it's horrible, I really don't want to use it) but I think there's still a IR service running because if I close IRSS (and iMon) I still can use the directional keys.

I got it partially working with a German guide I found somewhere here on the forums. It works but has a lot of bugs and doesn't work as smooth. You have to use the iMon software though, something I'd prefer not to use.

well, as far as I know Windows (7) can recognize / has drivers for Imon devices as HID device by default. So some commands like up/down, ESC, #, * ... are handeld by Windows and not Imon driver / IRSS. (may have a look at your devices...)

These button I could not map via Translator for example.

But all the rest does fine for me ...

As long nobody wants to send log files, screeshots of config nor save his System Specification in Profile, it's hard to help ...

Thanks Der_Bub. I whish I could send you some logs or something but I don't know where to find them and what to send.

Windows shows 7 HID devices in the list but I'm only using one (Apple) keyboard and my Razer Mouse. Which logs do I have to send?

Well that explains a lot I guess :p. I've got no idea how to solve this, using the Windows driver/service I can use both remotes (at least partially) so I think I connected my device correctly.

As far as I know, the new Imon drivers aren't supported from IRSS! (as I wrote before...)

Have a look at the check List and if this doesn't helps... more Information: Logs, Configuration...
