iMON/iMEDIAN Ver.6.01.0122 (1 Viewer)

I just see the new version of imon software (6.01.0122).
In the Release Note it's written that the imedian is now installed optionally.
So I could just install imon manager sw for controlling the remote controller.
I just installed MP and I'm new to this problem.
So supposing to install only imon manager, what should I do for using imon remote controller?

If you don't have an earlier version of iMon/iMedian, then just run the installed and select only iMon. If you have an earlier version, uninstall if before installing the new version; in this case backup any profile that you created (you can find them in "Documents and settings\All Users\Local configuration\Soundgraph"). Delete remainig files in this filder.

Once you have it installed, you can add Media Portal to the applications and import one of the templates that have been posted in the forum to get it working with Media Portal. Remember that iMon emulates a mouse and a keyboard, so you only need to map keys to buttons on the remote. It's not that difficult once you know which keys control Media Portal, in case you want to start from scratch your own configuration.

I can't find any templates that have been posted in the forum to get it working with Media Portal. Where can I find them?

Well I read the post.
I downloaded two different imon setup file.
Maybe your file is more updated.
Could you post your file?
In the post I found this step:

download the imo file
open up iMon Manager, and goto setup
Program CMD tab, add program
Navigate to MediaPortal executable
Import and import the IMO
Download the MyKeys plugin, and save in the Mediaportal, plugin, process directory
If you also have the iMon display:
Open up the VFD control panel (by doubleclicking on the icon next to the clock)
Set to Plugin
Open up MediaPortal Configuration programme
Goto plugins, and configure the external display to be iMon

Are they ok?

Those steps seem correct. Here is my setup file. It has not been updated to take advantage of MyKeys plug-in.

I followed the step written in the previous messages. I imported the igalan's imo file. When I start mediaportal, I see that the "My Video", "My Music", ... buttons don't take me in the related section: they do nothing.
I tried to import the imo file of this thread but same result.
Maybe the Imon V.6 can be the problem?
Under remote in the mediaportal setup I have selected MCE remote (but I have Imon remote).
Any help?

See if you have set the imon software to startup to "keyboard mode" by default. You should then be able to navigate the menu in MP. Also, the iMon remote is a HID remote. Try select this instead of the MCE remote.

I'm sure that I start imon in "keyboard mode": I can navigate the MP menu only with the arrow. The other button "My Tv", "My Music", "My Photo" do nothing but thay are in imo file.
This evening I'll try to set iMon remote as HID remote and I'll let you know the result.

You have to install the MyKeys plugin, as explained above. My profile doesn't take advantage of this plugin.
