iMON + MCE remote: Back button doesn't work (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I'm getting a HTPC to work. It has a iMON thing on the front and I'm using the MCE remote. All buttons work fine, except the BACK button.
iMON is not running and is set as MCE remote. IRSS is also set as MCE remote. In the MP Control Plugin, I'm using the Abstract Remote Model.
The BACK button does work, but it isn't mapped as BACK.. It is more like the Home button on the keyboard (goes to top).. The CLEAR button seems to do that was the BACK button has to do now..

What is wrong? How to fix it?

Oke, I think I solved it.. I mapped the Backspace button to ACTION_PREVIOUS_MENU.

Hi I got it working the same way. It is the problem that iMON uses a few buttons for 'windows commands/keyboard command' (dutch: windows opdrachten/toetsenbord opdracht). The functions are 'greyed out' so it isn't possible to change them. The only way is indeed to remap the functions inside MP configuration.

I didn't remap anything in MP and I get all my buttons working out of the box with IRSS and iMON.

What remote are you using then? I used the MCE remote with iMON

Btw, now I'm nog using the iMON receiver anymore. The standard MCE receiver works much better (out of the box)!

I have a MCE remote as well and works 100% reliable with IRSS out-of-the-box as well

What is your iMON version?

Well, that's a little bit different... But I don't use IRSS anymore. Other receiver works like a charm
