iMon Pad vs. MediaPortal (1 Viewer)

I use an iMon Pad remote control. It works fine under Windows (Vista in this case), but if I'm starting MediaPortal, nothing happens if I push the buttons. Also if i close MediaPortal, the iMon Pad doesn't seem to work until i restart/reset the iMon Manager. Some ideas!? ...

Is Mediaportal registered to program manager in Imon?

Whats your current setup - MP and Imon remote settings?

So I tried to install this. But it doesn't work as expected. With the modified mini display dll the VFD only works in the beginning, after restart it always shows "Media Portal inactive". Also it shows this text even if the pc is powered off. And if i want to config the mini display plug in, there comes an error message. Also first the remote is in keyboard mode, after restart it is all the time in mouse mode.

Finally I would prefer to just use the original iMon software. Like the guy here it should work. Somehow MediaPortal should just not intercept, interrupt, modify or what else the signals from my remote control and let the iMon software do what it should do as all the other programs.

In MP under remote i didn't make any changes (nothing is active). In iMon I installed a special mapping for mediaportal.exe (as in 2nd the link I posted). Do you use any special plugins (like IRSS)?
