iMON Remotes mapping for MediaPortal (1 Viewer)

If you want to have iMON handle all the keys of your remote, follow this simple steps:

1. Under "Settings"->"Windows Command" remove default mapping: leave only those that are highlighted on attached pictures named "Windows Command Settings".

2. Under "Settings"->"Program Command" add MediaPortal.exe and import the attached MediaPortal_imo_12_04_2008.zip.

3. Under "iMON Utilities"->"Application Launcher" add MediaPortal.exe as default program (see attached picture named "Application Launcher").

4. Download Shortcuter plugin. Once enabled, click "Reset configuration" and then "Update and close".

5. Enjoy your full working remote

problem with direct key (MyTV, MyDVD...)

Thank you for your work. All is funcioning but not the key: MyTv, Mypicture, MyDvd, Mymovies etc). Any Ideas?

None, it's a keyboard emulator...

thank you. if i understand, in the configuration setup of media portal you not have checked in remote nothing (MCE remote, HID...)

External players crash when using MP mapping in iMon

Hi there,

I also set up MP in iMon to get all the relevant keys working on my imon remote from the grandia gd01-mxr silverstone case. this works great, i even got the my video, my music etc. keys working with the keyboard input plugin (mykeys doesnt work).

BUT, when i want to play hd-dvd with external powerdvd player it crashes as soon as i press ANY button on the remote, using the mouse or keyboard everything works fine...so I deleted the MP configuration completely from iMon and voila´ i can control powerdvd again with the remote when launched from MP as external player.

Any suggestions why the external programs crash when using the mapping in iMon for MP? Same thing ocurs with MPClassic...crash.
