No luck for me.

Im using imon 8.0.3.0525 (think thats its, latest atm)
When I Click the Test button it restarts imon and turns off the VFD (Changes frontview setting from automatic to never)

This is the case im using (zalman hd503):

I`m testing the VFD Plugin and it works for me as well. I`m using the actual Version 8.03.0525.

My issue is, from time to time the clock changed the time. Meens, if the actual clock is 6:20 pm (or in german 18:20) it changed it to somehow like 6:42 pm (in german 18:42)
Can someone explain this?

Meanwhile i can`t upload logs.

Can't find anything on their website. What version are you on?

I got the latest version, which appears to be 8.03.0525, and it's working fine. As far as release notes, all I've found are here. No mention of remote API though.

As for the people having problems, I'll try to get out a build with better logging this weekend.

Do you have a VFD or LCD display? VFDs will be limited to ASCII characters only.
