Thanks that worked.

I have one more problem though

Imon Manager and IR Server don't like each other.

I have a Harmony remote and to being able to use it I have IR Server running.
But that always kills my LCD Display. Does anyone know why?

Thanks!

See ::here:: for the patches to make IRSS and Imon work together. I'm using them and it works fine!

Thanks for all the help! But I'm still having problems :) Sorry!

The problem is, that if IRServer doesn't kill iMon Manager, my remote doesn't work. Because iMon receives the IR Signal and IRServer does nothing.
So most of the buttons of my Harmony have no funtion at all. What's the best to do here?

    Hi kmk235,

open up the "debug client" which is included in the IRSS installation. after opening it, press "connect". After connecting to the IR Server, press some buttons on the remote control and see if something is recognized.
If you can see that the buttons are recognized by the ir server, maybe the mapping inside the MP COntrol Plugin is wrong.

    Hey legnod!
I opened debug and connected. Pressing buttons and nothing happens.
When I close iMon Manager it works and all the buttons are displayed in debug console.

Ok so i think you need to enable the "plugin modes" (for remote mapping and for display) inside the IMON Configuration.

The up, down, left and right button are handled as HID inputs and should always work, even if nothing is mapped inside the configuration.
Is your IRSS running as application or have you installed the service? Ir the IRSS is running as service, try to uninstall it inside the IRSS config and start the application (also inside the irss config).

Effectively I had to do this. Install the latest Imon manager from the soundgraph website. Set the remote to MCE in the options and delete all the program settings.

Then install IRSS and overwrite the older IRSS files with the ones from the link. Run IRSS and go into the imon USB settings and untick the 'kill Imon Manager' box. This will then allow you to run IRSS and Imon together. Configure IRSS and the IRSS plugin as you wish and it will work fine. The only issue I found is that I could not map the 'green button' to anything but MCE, but as I use a Harmony remote it is not an issue.

If you need to I can upload my IRSS folder, and controller config for you to either replace or look at.

    Thanks for the Info.

But I did all the same as you. Let me describe:
    - Antec Fusion Black with imon LCD
    - Windows 7 (complete reinstall)
    - Media Portal 1.3alpha
    - newest imon manager
    - deleted all programs in imon manager, unmapped all buttons
    - activated the plugin checkboxes
    - configured Irss to work with my harmony remote. works great! every button!
    - patched irss to not kill imon manager

BUT if imon manager is running, irss does not get any activity. checked in debug monitor...
what am i doing wrong? if imon manager is not running, my display does not work...

Please check In imon Manager - MCE remote LINK
IRSS Configuration : uncheck All plugins, only Imon USB and Windows Message are checked.
And uncheck " kill imon manager in Advanced Tab"
But your harmony must be configured with Imon Key not MCE
    TRy this !
