So I upgraded my HTPC with MP 1.4 Final, and the iMon VFD is still working. But I did not replace anything. I used to use the old Turorial from here under MP 1.2.3 last year (the one with iMon Manager <=iMon Manager 7.77 used).

Are there any advantages in using this newer method?

What are the new method?
I have always copied the binaries to the MediaPortal directory before configured the MiniDisplay in MediaPortal.
But I would like to see this binaries go inside the MediaPortal package... so we don't have to copy binaries every time a new version is coming out.
How this is done, I don't know...

For me the new method is to replace binaries. i don't need that for some reasons...

Maybe we don't have to do this anymore... I have always have to do it, so I just did it this time without trying to configure the MiniDisplay in MediaPortal...

On a really quick look there is more than 2000+ lines of changes spaces or line endings. Also Solution files are modified with unrelated changes. Those both should be removed as first step.

Yep, because i have added two lines in setup.nsh, and i don't know why uninstall.nsh is totally create ....
