Import a list of channels instead of scanning for them (1 Viewer)

Hi. I am just starting out with MediaPortal. I am using an analog tuner and I can scan for channels successfully. My cable provider keeps on changing channels. So I was wondering if there a way of importing a list of channels (from a text file or xml file) into TV Server instead of having it scan for them.

You can export our your channel list from the TV server and also import it back in. If you know what is changing you can edit the xml file yourself. I have done this a couple of times. I sometimes delete all my channels and just have scheduled shows in my xml. Sometimes I like to import just the shows but already have the channels.

Thanks for your reply. I think you are talking about the export button on "TV Channels" node. This button exports a lot more stuff than just channels I will take a look at it.
