- MP2 Version
MediaPortal 2 Version: 2.2.3
Description
I started tracking this one down with 2.2.3 but WIP 135 is having the same issue. I have two movies with the same title, one from 1988 and the other from 2002. Both have NFO's with the correct year and IMDB tt number. The importer has vary inconsistent results.
The first time I noticed something off, browse media had imported all media but movies was short on the count of what should be there. Narrowing things down I have identified two movies, there may be more as I keep digging. The below screenshot is 2.2.3 where both decided not to import in browse media.
I removed the 2002 version, reimported the parent folder, added the 2002 version back and reimported the parent folder again. After that, the 2002 version was visible in movies but linked to the 1988 version.
Trying a reimport on the 1988 version within browse media did not give an option for the 1988 version, just suggestions from the more current versions.
Next up I isolated the two movies on a fresh install of 2.2.3 using local storage. Both imported as the 2002 version and I can select either from movies under the single listing.
With WIP 135 things changed slightly. Both movies imported as the 1988 version but selecting the one item listed in movies gives an option for both years. The 2002 version was replaced with a newer copy along the way but both resolutions have the same result.
With WIP 135 in browse media running a reimport on the 2002 version, no options are given for a match. Auto or manual makes no difference.
Even more confusing, while movies and browse media list the 1988 version, M_MOVIEITEM in the database lists one item which matches the 2002 version.
I also tried regenerating the NFO's with no difference. I included the WIP 135 database and nfo's. Movies are named the same as the folders and I did a few imports on this database while removing and re-adding the movies.
Steps to Reproduce:
Run an import with the attached nfo.7z, might need to add movies within the folder using folder_name.mkv.
