Im having problems with the importer. After adding a dir with ~300+ movies in it it starts finding matches, so far OK. But after a while downloading art and info, it simply stops and stays there. Only solution is to restart the importer and have to find matches again. Which in turn stops on the info download of some or other movie. I know there are timeouts, but they do not seem to work.

Using the latest version of everything with imdb+ scraper.

Would be a lot better if the data could be downloaded immediately as soon as the match is found.

Edit: Looks like setting Threads to 4 and restarting the computer did the trick so far.

There is a memory issue when you import a lot of movies at the same time, so especially on scripts that fetch a lot of HTML code, such as the IMDb+ scraper, it can cause problems. There was also another problem relating to artwork during large imports that has been fixed, as well as some other issues.

By limiting the amount of movies you import, and limiting the amount of asynchrone threads, as you already did, you can indeed mitigate the existing issues, but rest assured a new version of the MovingPictures plugin is going to be released soon that will elliminate all these problems.

If you want, you can join the #moving-pictures IRC channel on freenode, and you can ask for the latest alpha/test version that contains all those fixes.
