Hi All,
I am having a very serious problem and it really is driving me insane so i hope you guys can help me.
Recently i have bought a Linksys Mediahub and installed 2 x 2tb Drives in it. I have copied most of my movies to this mediahub.
I also have some movies on my internal harddisks in my HTPC.
When i import my movies that are on my internal harddisk the importation is succesful. I can start a movie in MP and it plays fine.
But when i add the Linksys Mediahub to the Movie Importer it scans and finds the movies....it gets the name and all. But it stops when all movies are found and it is going to retrieve media information. i can switch tabs in Moving Pictures but the retrieval of info hangs.
This has also happend at the end when only a few movies are left.
When i start Media Portal and start a Movie.....Media Portal Hangs. Even a movie that is on my internal drive does NOT play anymore.
At first i thought it was because i was using Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit so i reinstalled my system with the 32bit version.
This does not fix it.
Even reinstalling my system with Windows XP doesnt help.
Its a clean system with only Media Portal installed and the latest updates for windows. Also my video drivers are updated.
SAF 5 is installed but even with SAF 4 or without SAF does not have any differences.
I have read that people have had some problems with their mediainfo.dll file....so i tried several older versions of that file but thats a no go either.
Does anyone have a clue to whats going on??
I can access the Linksys Mediahub fine and can copy and move files with no problem.
Its formatted in NTFS and the mediahub has made 1 big drive of 4tb so no RAID
I have also a 1tb full of movies on an external Toshiba hard drive.
What i have also tried is importing the movies that are on my internal drive and the importing movies from the Toshiba drive that was connected to my Synology Diskstation. Then the same problem happens.
This is WITHOUT the importing from the LinkSys. so its not really just a linksys problem.
My HTPC has a network connection to my modem/router. The Linksys is connected to the same modem/router
The Synology is connected to a wireless access point that is connected to my modem/router.
The Toshiba was connected to my Synology and is now connected to my Linksys.
I hope you guys can help me.
Thanks
