STuNZ,
I want to give this a go. Can you tell me what version of MyFilms is "compatible" w/ MP 1.0.1.0?
The D/L page shows very old builds.
I had installed the My Films (ANT database Importer) build.
When I try to run the config I get an unhandled exception.
(I'd love to insert the actual image, but apparently don't have that skill set
(I've tried to link to images stored at MediaFire...)
If I elect to ignore the error message my config doesn't show the dialog you describe.
<< where's the image, dummy!>>
So having said all this:
Steps 2 & 3 seem to one with the config page I get.
Would step 5 correspond to "Search Path for File Read"?
In order to "uninstall" the plugin, do I simply remove the dll from the appropo MP folder?
When I tried to "unregister" it I got:
"The specified module couldn't be found"
Am I off the deep end here?
I think all this would be a moot point if I only could grasp the MP concepts for database population. It can not be as bad as what I get (very few movies import with very little metadata). I say this because every other aspect of this app looks and behaves rather efficiently, so it must be me
