Because the name of the song is not necessary, and the genre is not searched on the Internet and does not cause a search, and the functions and modules for working with genres and artists are different.
I would just read the title name into a variable and not trigger an image search on changes - likewise with the genre and year. Then it can be used for the title & artist search on the artist scrape.
With a title & artist search false positives would become almost impossible on the MusicBrainz search. A big improvement - with very less effort.
Not everything is so simple, if you do not make a trigger to change the name of the song, then there will be no search, if you do a trigger this will lead to a search for pictures for the artist and album.
and you forgot that the plugin works not only with my music, but also with other radio and music plugins, and the main search is when the plugin starts in the databases and when playing it is supplemented.
We don't want to search on the change of a song, just read the song name into a variable and use it for the artist search, which is triggered by artist and album changes.
If the additional song name & artist name search didn't return a MBID then the artist only search will return the same results at the second step. There's no risk for less search results but false positives are reduced very much.
FH specially and separately not search MBID its Side effect of searching for an Artist or Album. At the stage of the Artist’s search, there is no track name, if you add it, you need to change the algorithm so that the search will be when changing the name of the song. Otherwise, this is not correct.
Understood, you're right.
Would there be any drawback with the search for artist and album when the track changes?
Anyway, when playing all tracks randomly or with radio playback or with various artists (compilation) albums the artist changes almost at every track change. Hence, this change wouldn't mean much more workload.
