Quite often, especially with recurrent recordings (e.g. record every time on this channel), my recordings are incomplete. I suspect that this is being caused by incorrect handling of the pre/postrecording settings. I have the prerecording time set to 8 minutes, postrecording time is set to 15 minutes.

As shown in the attached logfiles, I have scheduled a TV recording from 20:30 until 21:30, e.g. exactly 60 minutes. Recording starts correctly at 20:22 (with small delay due to waking up from hibernation mode), taking the prerecording time in account. However, according to recording.log MediaPortal stops recording after exactly 60 minutes of recording, instead of the correct 8+60+15=83 minutes of recording.

Kind regards,
Ruud Senden.

From reading the logs it's not a MP bug, but a problem with pvr scheduler:

    2007-08-26 21:22:31.359375 [Info.][17]: ECP2: MediaPortal is not playing something.

After that PVR kills the MP process. So you should contact the PVR people ;)
