When opening mediaportal (not in full screen) I get strange charters. See Screenshot1 (red box) in attachment.
When changing to full screen the time value is correct but some other things are not correct. See screenshot2 in attachment

I alraidy tryed to change resolution to 800x600 and 1024x768 but that does not help.
I also tryed to change the language to dutch witch also change the display. (not readable date & time in normal mode, readable in full screen mode but the menu is unreadable) screenshot3 lets you see this.

Has this maybe something to do with unicode problem?

I also added all the log files in attachment.

Can somebody help me with this?

    Hi,
Never seen this here, do you have a graphic card with 128 mb & that it supports DirectX 9.0c?

    Regards

I found the way to test it. It's easy (dxdiag)

I attached the result to this post.
All seems to be ok using dxdiag.

    Hi,
Yeah & the answer is: Display Memory: 32.0 MB (should be 128 mb or more (it can run on 64 mb if you disable animation etc))

    Hello again,

I'm now not using anymore the onboard prosavageDDR card because of the lack of memory.
I installed a leadtek Winfast Geforce2 MX 400 with 64Mbyte memory on board.

I also disabled animation like you asked and I still have the same issue.
Is there something elso to disable? (etc?)

    Hi,
Maybe try to download another skin which doesn't use much memory(simpleMP or something like that)
As i said it can, but maybe it won't work anymore with 64mb i don't have any graphic card to check that it still works with 64 mb as it did before, maybe someone else can.....

    Regards
    Roy

thats strange because when I test it with dxdiag it says for dx version until 9 no problem

    see attached file.

And mediaportal works now with the light version of the skin. Thx Roy ;)

Still does not change the fact that it does not support DX9. :)
It is a very old card. Only FX5200 and above/newer and 9500 and above/newer (not 90xx/91xx/92xx-series) supports DX9 (+some new integrated gfx).

Anyway: If it works then all is good (so far :D)
