    HI Guys
I Think the old MPEI needs a little attention - as you may/may not know I ran in to the problem with the MPEI showing blank on the installed extensions page.
This prompted me to re-install all the extensions I had - this is where the problem lies.
Many of the install packages the MPEI uses have incorrect links and therefore show an error when trying to install from the MPEI.

    Steps to reproduce:
    Open the MPEI
Try to install an extension - many have the error.

I manually downloaded these missing extensions from their relative locations to complete my setup:
    • World News
    • World Weather
    • Showtimes
    • Radio Time
    • Online Videos
    • My Lyrics
    • Latest Media Handler
    • IMDB Plus
    • Fanart Handler
    • Extensions

Check for the latest versions within the MPEI :-

    Extensions = 404: version 1.2.2.199
    Fanart Handler = 404: version 4.0.3.269
    Latest Media Handler = 404: version 2.4.0.73
    Moving Pictures = 404: version 1.8.2
    MyLyrics = 404: version 2.2.1.288
OnlineVideos = Package error: version 2310
    Tune In = 404: Version 1.5.0.117

I'm sure there are more but these are what I have installed...

that doesn't exist in MPEI so I have no clue
all of them install fine here (incl. OnlineVideos, no packageerror)
for example fanart handler: 4.0.3.269 leads to https://raw.githubusercontent.com/y...er/master/builds/FanartHandler-4.0.3.269.mpe1
link works in MPEI and as ddl. Can you reach github as all of them except OnlineVideos are located there?

    anyone with different results?

Tried to do a full update of the links too... Is there a log I can paste?
The URLs are reachable directly, just the MPEI that fails... screenshot1.jpg screenshot2.jpg screenshot3.jpg

I have tried uninstalling the Fanart Handler plugin > clearing the cache > updating the info (of known plugins) > reinstall Fanart Handler > Checking the InstalledExtensions.XML

  • About The Project

The vision of the MediaPortal project is to create a free open source media centre application, which supports all advanced media centre functions, and is accessible to all Windows users.

In reaching this goal we are working every day to make sure our software is one of the best.

  • Support MediaPortal!

The team works very hard to make sure the community is running the best HTPC-software. We give away MediaPortal for free but hosting and software is not for us.

Care to support our work with a few bucks? We'd really appreciate it!
