(restart needed) is only for when you change the database path.So have you checked the Parsing Test just below the Import Paths in Configuration? The only reason TVSeries cant pick it up is if the parsing fails. Recording TV has nothing to do with TVseries so what you see there doesnt actually mean anything.The option for 'checking my folder automatically...' is basically a monitoring service when TVseries is running with-in MediaPortal which monitors your import paths for changes and automatically imports them without needing to shutdown and restart.Im trying to understand what your problem is, is it failing to import automatically when you drop new files in or just manual import is failing (ie click start import in Config or restart MediaPortal)?
