Message: <blockquote data-quote="chesh" data-source="post: 422054" data-attributes="member: 88249"><p>Well, I know I'm using PDVD 8's h.264 codec, and I belive sjeffrey, ixian, and WileE are all using it too.  If you install the demo, it should install the codecs.  Even if the demo expires, that is just the program expiring, the codecs can still be used.  So, it's up to you to decide if you want to purchase the program or not.  I'd install the demo first, try the codecs and see if they work for you.  If you go back a page or 2 in this forum you should see my post of what codecs I'm currently using, and I'm pretty sure everyone else is using the same thing except maybe a different audio codec.  Something ixian pointed out though, is that the demo for PDVD8 is extremely hard to find as PDVD9 is out now and Cyberlink is trying to push that on consumers.</p></blockquote><p></p>
