Instalation RC3 Throw Proxy (1 Viewer)

I need a Proxy to conect to Internet. But during the instalation he needs to conect, but he say, the internet explorer configuration is brong. But I can conect with Internet Explorer without problems. How I can install MediaPortal.

Hi,

If you've got access to another pc
a workaround may be the "download only" option offered by the installer.
You can download all neccessary files from this pc and than copy them to your htpc.
(note: "download" pc and htpc need to the same architecture (32/64 bit),
the operating system may differ)

I'll try to do your suggestion. But when I'll copy all files in my HTPC, I only need run the install file again or I need install manualy all the components?

Hi,

please recheck the documentation
as it was updated lately.

=> After downloading you only need to run MediaPortal.DeployTool.exe from your download location,
no need to run the downloaded files seperately.

Ok. I read all the documentation as well. Today I try to install the new RC3. I'm anxious.
I have the last question. In all Mediaportals that I tested, without install TV Server, the change between chanells go slowest. If I install TV Server will be change to better behavior?

The speed of a channel change can be influenced by a lot of factors (system hardware, tv card, drivers,...).

Speed is here (DVB-S with Technisat Skystar2 and latest BDA drivers) with TvServer ~ 1-2s.

I installed the MediaPortal 1.0.0 RC3 with TV Server and the speed of a channel change is faster, 2-3seg. Great!!

But sometimes without touch any button, the timeshifting go 1min back, and sometimes the Screen becomes black too. Is it some problem in RC3 or is it problem from me?
I have Pentium IV 3.2Hz, 1Gb Ram; 300Gb Hard Disk; 128Mb Graphics, Pinnacle PCTV 2000i dual DVB-T, Windows XP with Service Pack-3, Windows media player 11 and DVB fix installed.
