Hello,
Im a partly happy WMC user for years - now ready to try out MP2.
However the installation is not even getting anywhere.

Please see the log file for details.

Could this have something to do with me having WMC already running and using one of the two Digital Devices S2 tuners and one of the CI's I have?

My WMC and computer is working great so I dont see what the problem is other than from this point onwards in the logfile.

RAM: 8GB
Kingston SSD with 60GB of free space.
Tuners: Digitasl Devices DuoFlex S2
CI's: Digital Devices Duoflex Dual CI. With Canal Digital CAM's

OS: Win7 64bit
Other SW: Digital Devices control center (for assigning the CI's to Tuners)
Windows Media Center (Working and recording)

Steps to Reproduce:
Just try to install with WMC running and recording..

Please try to install the DirectX9 package manually, then run the MP2 installer again. You can download it from here.
