I need Windows Media Center (the server) of Win 7 to act as a media server to my Xbox 360. I have tried many other DLNA server but none has the quality including liveTV of WMC.
On my media server I have disabled the WMC service as I need to use my MCE remote with MePo.
Now if I reenable the service. WMC and MePo starts together on some action of the remote (even outside the green button).
So in short, is it possible to have WMC active and still be able to use MePo with the MCE remote as it would if disable? I guess the answer is no because it won't make sense to propose to disable the WMC service in MePo.
An alternative may be to prevent WMC to receive the remote commands. Is it possible?
Can we prevent WMC to start its own client?
