Install Powerscheduler ++ on TV Server only (1 Viewer)

Hi Guys,

I have installed the MP TV Server only on my dedicated server. I would like to install PS++ on that instead of the 'standard' powerscheduler that comes with the install.

How do I do it, as the MPE Installer did not install when the TV Server was set up originally.

To install PS++ you need the MPEI on your server. Two ways to do it:

1. Why don't you install the MP client? It does not do any harm on your server as long as it is not started...
2. Or copy the MPEI executable and all needed DLLs from a MP client installation (Program Files\Team Mediaportal\MediaPortal) to a directory on your server and run the MPEI exe from there. Either try out which DLLs you really need or copy them all.

Hi radical,

I ended up installing MP client as I needed the moving pictures & mytvseries plugins for the Samsung tablet that uses aMPdroid, obviously this then resolved the problem.

There are thoughts about including powerscheduler++ in default MePo installer, not sure if this is still happening, or if it's included in 1.4 or not.
