Installation Advice Please (1 Viewer)

I have installed iPiMP and it is running ok. I can navigate, stream etc. However the streaming is not smooth and the audio and video drop out after a bit and then the video will stop altogether while the audio continues to cut in and out. I am running MP 1.1.2 and I installed iPiMP 5.1.0.755 which appeared to be the latest build for that version of MP. The server is a quad core with 4GB of memory and does not appear to be taxed while streaming so I don't think it is a resources issue.

I see several newer updates with titles like 'iPiMP 5.1.1 update dll' and 'SmoothStreaming Apache module for iPiMP 5.1.0' and 'mod_smooth_streaming 1.4.16'. But I don't know if I should install these and if so, how to install them. And I don't know what issues they are intended to fix.

Can anyone give me some advice?

Thank you! I have made those changes and things are better. I still get drop outs but I am tweaking the settings to see if I can overcome it.
