Guys,

I need your help to do the setup. I have already reimage my PC twice as I failed to get the IR blaster to work. Different people is telling me different think. Browsing in forum get me more confuse.

Can someone good enough to help me to provide a guide?

Below is the standard action I have taken previously.

1. Install Windows Xp Pro
2. Install all drivers relating to the OS
3. Install the hauppauge pvr-150 MCE kit CD

Can someone continue from here please? I am able to watch TV as well as using the MCE remote. But I cannot get the IR blaster to work. Some of the forum say that this pack is only for WinXP MCE hence no driver and have to install 3rd part. After doing that it is still not working.

I use the hauppauge IR Blast config, it keep saying no driver found/hw not found.

I have similar setup (OS + TV card + blaster), and have no problem using IR Server Suite for blasting (using TVServer).

Hi, and welcome to the forum :)

A few pointers (not much time now):
    1. Only install drivers from Hauppauge, not IR-stuff etc.
    2. You should use SP3 (not relevant to your problem I think, though)
    3. Did you try IR Server Suite? If so:
    a) Is your STB listed as preconfigured? If not:
    b) Does it learn IR codes? (No errors)
    c) Does it blast when testing?
