The problem pierremenard have it's what it's described in M$ hotfix(i had it too & after adding that fix on a sp2 it was fine again), more posting in here without trying that it's nonsense

I would just install the M$ fix, and if it continues worry about posting back here, but please say what you have done to rectify your problem.

If you have taken a look at the first post, you could have see that:

"Symptoms are the same as MS KB 909095, but I already have installed the patch. So, I do not know what to do."

Hmmm, could be a Asus shitty bios for memory, have you tried default memory settings in BIOS?

Yes, the memory setting are the default one in Bios. Moreover, as the problem comes out only after using MP, for me it has something to deal with software usage (and issue).

1. I disabled hybernation
2. I restarted XP
3. I defragmented the system HD
4. I re-enabled hybernation
5. I capped mssql memory usage to 128 MB
6. I restarted XP

Now hibernation works!
