I've been playing with MP for a few weeks and am getting serious about it. But there is one thing that sets me off a bit, and it is the interface. On a regular basis, I'll hit some key on my keyboard and the interface would freeze. It just stays there for a few seconds (2-5) and then resumes.

It is painful because once I've hit some key I expect a visual indication that something is happening, otherwise I'll try the same key again, then again. And then it reacts again, but I've hit my key three times...

Does anyone have the same problem?

I've not had the same problems, but I wonder whether your machine is struggling a little. You can run MP in windowed mode by pressing alt+enter and then check the CPU usage in task manager as you do things...

My MP often freeze, and I found a way to trigger it (the reason)

When I go into some plugin, like trakt\my series\pictures\online videos\etc..
You often get a list at your right side, the list can be music\pictures\TV-series!

When I go down the list everything is fine the first 5-10 lines I read, but after 15-20 MediaPortal freeze and I need to reboot my computer !!
This happens EVERY time.

btw: when it freeze, music still play in background and I can skip track and volume !!?

Please: if this is reproduceable, provide us with the means to debug, post your logs (as per my footer) so devs & testers can have a proper look

Yes this happens every time I do this.
Can you tell me where I find the log you need ?
