Intermittently not starting up frontend (1 Viewer)

I have this issue that has me stumped. About 1 in 5 times MediaPortal just doesn't start up the front end.

The process runs ok, but just no frontend ?
The logs bring up no error.

I have tried everything:
- removed all plugins.
- tried different video codecs
- tried no tuners, some tuners.
- basic home screen
- prayed

I have a clean RC2 install, WinXP.

The thing is, most times its great, it all works, starts up, no problem.

But then the next time I go to start it..... nothing.
I have to use the three-finger-salute to kill the process.
WATCHDOG shows no error. The error.log is non-existant, no other detectable errors from the other logs.

Anyone have this problem - can help at all ?

Could you post the MediaPortal.log so we can see the spot where it "hangs".

Once I get home I will do that, but I know from memory the last thing it says on the splash screen , " Starting plugins" , them the splash screen disappears. Then nothing.
The mediaportal log says "Initiazing BASS system" as the last thing is does.
Will put the log up tonight.

My current testing is showing that having the options "Keep MediaPortal always on top", with the combination of, " Start mediaportal in fullscreen mode" seems to be the problem.
