I discovered that my dual hybrid card needed a MPEG 2 encoder for the FM radio and composite inputs to work. I installed WinDVR as per the recommendation on the forums here to get the encoder. This worked and my FM and composite input worked to a degree and this is not my issue... I have the latest K-Lite codec pack installed which I have painstakingly tweaked to get every file I have playing in both Zoom Player and Winamp. When I install the WinDVR program it installs the Intervideo decoder as well which seems to want to take over the choice of using ffdshow with Winamp (I can exclude it from ZP). The result is that most files don't play video or audio in winamp and the program keeps crashing..... Uninstall the WinDVR program and everything is fine again..... Does anyone know how I can prevent the Intervideo decoder from the system but still allow the encoder to work with my card?? [/QUOTE]
