Intervideo HID Remote XPC-RC01 (1 Viewer)

I installed MP v0.1.3 and these are the problems I'm having with the Intervideo HID Remote XPC-RC01:

-navigation works fine: I can go up or down, left or right, the OK button works, and the BACK button works

-Play, Pause, Next, Prev buttons do not work.
-Direct buttons; Music, videos, DVD do not work

After doing a little experimenting, it appears all this remote does is send keys to the OS e.g. Ctrl+P for 'Play', Ctrl+F for 'Next', Ctrl+B for 'Prev'.
So, I tried remapping my keyboard keys to match those keys but Media Portal will not accept the Ctrl key. It only accepts the 'P' hence if I press F on my keyboard it works, but not with the remote.

I then uninstalled v0.1.3 and installed v0.2, but the same problem persists.

Could someone please help me out, or correct me if I'm wrong.

Sounds like it is the same remote as bundled to the asus 7134 TV/FM card.

It seems this is not the remote they are talking about in that thread. I tried the program and it did not work

Since 2.0, the program does not work anymore.
In configuration, set remote to mce-remote and see if buttons work afterwords. If so, I will come with a new program to fill in the missing keys.
