Bit late, but I just stumbled on the same issue.

There's a config setting in TVServer/Plugins/Mediaportal IPTV filter and url source splitter/Database Editor.

You can set the useragent (one of the properties on lower half of screen) for any channel you select.

Don't forget to store the changes though...

Still have to find a way to set that for all channels, or maybe something that can be set when scanning channels...
