Hi,

I am trying to get MP to work with my STB (Philips DSR2211 - TV VLaanderen).
After quite some searching I've managed to get the 'learn IR' function to work within the MCE replacement plugin. Following link helped me with it:
http://www.byremote.com.au/Hip/mce_remote_faq.htm
I'm using the replacement driver for the hauppage blaster.
However, somehow the IR code that is learned is not the code the IR blaster sends. All the HW is good because with Vista Media Center I can change channels on my STB.
Could someone please help me out?

Thx,
X

Have you tried varying the blaster speed? changing the blaster type to SMK? trying different blaster ports?

PS. I moved your thread to this forum because it is more appropriate.

    Thx for moving the thread....

    Yes I've tried all that.
I'll give some more info about the setup...
I am also using a Logitech Harmony 895 and with this remote i can change the channels on my STB (via it's own extender and Blaster LEDS). When I connect the MCE IR Blaster LED to one of the ports of the Harmony extender the led flashes 'slower' and the channel is changed on the STB.
Of course I'd like it to work from within MP so I can set external channels without having to change function (device) on the Harmony.
I've even learned the signal coming out of the Harmony extender (held it's IR blaster LED in front of the MCE blaster). It always says 'IR Learned' but for some strange reason the learned IR signal isn't reproduced the way it was recorded!?

    TIA,

Is there a file that stores the learned IR codes somewhere?
    Or a registry key?
Maybe I could analyze and modify it manually...

    Thx,

I got it to work.....what I did was change the repeat delay to a higher value.
    Thx,
