Hi Everyone,
First time MP'er, and almost got to the perfect system running. I have a hybrid card receiving DVB-T & Foxtel analog stream, EPG's working etc ... all good. The last piece of my puzzle is getting the IR blasting of the Foxtel box working.
I'm using a standard Microsoft Remote & Receiver and plugged the IR blaster cable into port_1. I have installed the latest IRSS software (that i could find anyway), selected the Foxtel 100 unit for the configuration and taken it out for a spin with the Test button within TV Server Config Tool.
The Problem:
When I test, say Channel 101, the IR light flashes three times but the numbers aren't registering on the Foxtel unit. I have tried from within MP client as well and dont get any flashes at all when selecting a foxtel channel. First things first though, any ideas about how i can further test my setup? What Log files are useful for troubleshooting this?
Version info:
MP TV Server: SVN 1.0.4.24669
IRSS: 1.4.2.3344
Foxtel Box: Small slim grey unit, Sim card in front panel, onlly modelish number i can see is RS-232-C
O/S : Windows 7
I've gone with the latest SVN to try and overcome some of the Windows 7& MP issues i've read about on the forums and so far so good. This is the only thing I'm unsure how to get going.
Thanks in advance,
Mitch
