Pls excuse me if this has been asked before, but i couldn't find it. I'd like to map a button in the plugin so that i go directly to the My Lyrics window. How do i do this? Also, after that i want to map the same button to go back to Now playing and/or current playlist. I can find the place where i can map new commands with conditions, but i don't know how to enter these specific conditions and targets.

You need to get the screen id number out of the plugin's skin xml file. Using this number you can map a key to jump straight to that screen either in the button mapping form or in a macro goto command.

I'm not sure about the second question though ... I don't know that it is currently possible to have context sensitive button mapping for a non-standard plugin ... I'll look into it for you and get back to you later.

    Cheers,

    When you say:
In the case of the Hauppauge PVR-150 device you could in fact use the MceIr.dll as a girder plugin through IR Server Suite !!!

Do you mean..... In IR Server Suite config, select Girder, and point it to the mceir.dll that comes with the replacement driver package?

I tried this and rec'd an exception error. I think its almost time to get another IR Receiver. This one from Hauppauge seems to be non-standard??

    that's exactly what I mean shareware81.

Are you able to tell me what the exception is?

The Hauppauge xp mce remote devices are "non-standard" in so far as they don't act the same as the oem ones, but I guess they technically do meet the "standard", whatever that is.

There is special code in IR Server Suite for the Hauppauge mce devices because of the differences, but clearly I'm missing something (note that the replacement driver and mceir.dll never did work 100% with the Hauppauge devices).

I'd like to get it to work properly, but I don't have one to experiment with.

If you can tell me what the exception with the girder plugin was maybe I can fix that, because my girder plugin support is still experimental.

    Cheers,

    Hey everyone,

I've just released a new version, but instead of using a date to tell it apart from the last one I'm now using version numbers properly :)

So I'm closing this thread in a few days in favour of creating new threads for each release of the IR Server Suite.

The new version (at the time of writing) is 1.0.4.1 and you can download/discuss it here:

    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/ir_server_suite_version_1_0_4-t33512.html

    Thanks guys,

    OK,

I've now closed this thread and un-sticky'd it. All future versions will be posted as a new sticky thread (and old version threads will be unstuck when a new version comes out).

This makes it easy to check for new versions and will keep the thread sizes manageable.

Any outstanding business from this thread can be carried on in a new thread or as a reply to the version specific thread. Don't be afraid to start a new thread, I won't yell at you :)

At the time of writing this the most recent version is 1.0.4.1 and it is available here.
