Hey. I am trying to set up my MCE remote as a mouse when I jump over to my web browser. When I first install IRSS translator reads my remote signals fine - although a few buttons don't appear to work. However when I go back into the configuration tool and IRSS restarts itself then it loses all connections and none of my buttons work.

Any ideas?

I have the same problem but got a workaround. This seems to be a bug...the IR Server.exe gets killed by the configuration but it doesnt start again. You have to restart the irserver.exe manually (C:\Program Files (x86)\IRServer Suite i think). Creating a shortcut on desktop is the easiest way i think.
To avoid the waiting time on closing the configuration, stop the application manually (STOP button on top menu) after you changed the settings and then close the config by clicking "OK". An Message should appear that the IR Serer will need to restart but than doesnt happen. After the configuration has been closed, start the IRServer.exe. This may take 5 to 10 seconds.

Because of the not working buttons....Have you ever opened the "Debug Client" ( available inside the context menu of the IRServer tray icon) and tested if you something for every button you press on the remote. If the ir server recognizes every button then the mapping for this button is missing. In this case you have to add them inside the MPControlPlugin configuration to your choosen remote template (first tab i think).

Thanks for this. I have had debug client working but then stopped working after configuration so assumed it was buggy - which the whole ir server suite appears to be to be fair. Thanks for the work around I'll give it a go.

I believe this is the same issue no matter what you are using for IR blasting. I'm using ServerBlaster with native Hauppauge programs and it seems to do the same thing. As soon as I enter config, The Hauppauge IR icon disappears from the tray.
