Roy's his usual busy self, so apologies that he has not had time to reply.

I agree, the TVServer\MP should be intelligent enough to recognise only one card available and switch to the stream now being recorded, if live tv is being played on client.

Maybe you would like to put this in either Improvement Suggestions - MediaPortal Forum or Re-Design MyTV - get involved - MediaPortal Forum

I'm pretty certain it would get quite a bit of support.

Thanks, I'll split the two items into "Re-Design MyTV" & "IR-Server Bug".....seeing that Roy was under the impression that the IR-Server was causing the second problem.
