Hi Guys,
I have a weird issue that I think has something to do with startup order.
I use IRTrans for the remote (as it's built into my origenAE case) and thte IRTrans listener program starts up with windows - via the startup folder. MediaPortal is "Starting with windows" so it's there too.
I think what happens is that MediaPortal starts up too quickly - before the IRTrans program is running and therefore, it does not register with mediaportal - as the remote does not work.
However, if I then restart mediaportal, it all works fine - I think because the IRTrans program is running by now.
So, here's the question - has anyone got a solution for this - can mediaportal be made to wait like it does for the TVserver?
I know I can add in the start-up delay, but that's a poor solution. I'd have thought that there was something that occurs under the hood the ensure that IRTrans is running? Or retry successfully once running?
