Is it possible to mix up certain TV Series with Movies? (1 Viewer)

I see your dilemma.

You could have separate categories within TV series and Moving Pictures for your daughter, but she would still have to go to two separate places depending on whether she wanted to watch a film or a TV show.

A leftfield idea is to use a separate plug in just for your daughters media, I have heard of tiny media manager but never used it.

Don't think so, I think it's a separate media management solution, with a MP1 plug in.:

Okay. I might be wrong about tinymediamanager, I haven't used it.
There may be other plug ins that do a similar job, mediabrowser may be an option.
But I have only ever used Moving Pictures and MP TV Series, so don't know the specifics on what else is out there.

Yeh it doesn't say anywhere that it's a plugin, its a standalone management system.

The TV Series plugin supports tv series only, not movies
The Movies plugins (Moving Pics / My Films) support movies only, not tv series.

The only solution that mixes kids tvseries and movies that i can think of is:
Use my tv series for adult tv series
Use moving pics or my films for adult movies
Use my videos in shares mode for kids tv series and kids movies

Use a renamer program that auto populates the folder.jpg and renames files into the naming structure that you want.

eg.

d:\kids\Peter Pan\Peter pan.mkv
d:\kids\Peter Pan\folder.jpg
d:\kids\dora the explorer\s01e01.mkv
d:\kids\dora the explorer\s01e02.mkv
d:\kids\dora the explorer\s01e03.mkv
d:\kids\dora the explorer\folder.jpg
