Hello

I was using MP for few years, but over the last year, I'm using KODI, which is far better than MP in every aspect..
at this point, I don't know why bother developing plugins and skins for MP... it's so outdated in comparison to KODI.
simple things - like IPTV , streaming torrents, and a huge community - exists in KODI long ago, while in MP we don't see it... plus the fact that MP is Windows-only - and you got a poor product.
KODI runs on almost every platform that there is on the market...

so actually it is a goodbye from MP, you served me well few years, sorry it didn't last...
thanks to all of those who worked hard to bring the software to its grown and stable stages.

thanks.

Trying to start a war here?
If you're happy with Kodi, good, stay with it. I'm happy with MePo and stay with that.

    Hi.
The problem is, he is not wrong in ALL he mentioned.
KODI, which is far better than MP in every aspect
This is bullshit for sure... KODI is a lot worse than MP when it comes to picture quality (at least on Windows), to configuration and to Live TV. IPTV is working in MP for sure and I don't give a dime for illegal stuff like torrent. But...
Some points are indeed much better in KODi like the fluid GUI and especially this:
KODI runs on almost every platform that there is on the market
This touches the most weak point of MP. MP is Windows only. Also this may be no issue the day this project was started but it is a huge issue nowadays. And in the long term this indeed may kill the whole project as Windows wasn't, isn't and probably never will be a good choice on small devices. And no one wants to have an expensive, huge, power consuming and noisy PC near to the TV if (s)he can achieve (nearly) the same with a low power, tiny, cheap and noiseless "Stick" simply plugged into an HDMI port and you're good to go....
