Yeah, my TV is only 1080i. :-( Still seems strange, though, since (as I said) other software can handle it okay.

Added a Radeon 5570, and it looks great now. Hoping that it's not a problem that the rather hefty heat sink on the Radeon (in the x16 slot) is pushing slightly against an unused connector on the Hauppauge (in the x1 slot).

If there is any contact to electrical parts on the Hauppage then it would be wise to insulate those areas.

No electrical contact, no. It's the heat sink against the plastic housing of a connector. Don't expect the heat sink will get hot enough to melt anything.
