Is SimpleMP the Fastest MP Skin? (1 Viewer)

Since my first post... a bit of background - started with meedios. it couldn't play my dvd files (codec issues). moved to xbmc. it wouldn't read all of my mp3 files (unknown issue where it would read some but not all of the files despite confirmation by xbmc developers that the files in question were properly tagged and reading fine on their installations). now i'm here, and thus far, it's working 100% out of the box... which is awesome. not to mention the TV support (unlike xbmc) - which although I don't currently use it, might be handy down the line.

At any rate, despite having a pretty decent laptop, the default skin ran a bit slow on my vista box. Was searching around and found SimpleMP which claimed to be one of the fastest skins for mp.

I'm wondering if there's any consensus on which is is the fastest for mp? SimpleMP looks great... just wondering what (if any) other options there might be out there for snappy interfaces.

Simple MP is the fastest skin, have had people able to run on reasonably low spec machines, where other skins have just frozen.

Also xface is a nice skin and does not have too much animation, so give that a try as well.
