I've tried any possible combination of Windows XP, Windows 7, MP 1.0.2, MP 1.1.0 , SVN:s and even MP 0.2.3... The problem is always the same - non-FTA channels freeze after few minutes and log files show nothing unusual. Now, I know that this is most likely not really MP problem (see below) but I'm really curious - and helpless right now. Is there any way to "tweak" DVB-C performance, especially in regards to CAM and pay channels? Is there any card and CAM combination that actually works rock-solid for DVB-C and particularly comhem (Sweden)?What else have I tried... Well, to start with I've tried different media applications on Windows and freezing problem is always there. The "best" result is obtained with Terratec's own Home Cinema application which at least "unfreezes" the picture after 20-30 seconds and then continues as normal. The signal quality is very good, I've analyzed it both in Windows and in Dreambox (on the same cable).The freezing problem does not happen with FTA channels so I would guess that the DVB-C card itself works fine.I've tested the CAM and the subscription card in my TV which has CI and it works fine - so the CAM is fine too...Interesting (and very frustrating) fact is that the only way I managed to get stable performance was when I out of desperation tested that not-to-be-discussed filter with my subscription card in the Dreambox... And it worked perfectly... Now, I'm not too keen on using the non-supported functionality (even though I would only be watching my paid-for channels - I have no external connection from Dreambox), but this was a very interesting test that yet again confirmed that most of the parts are fine - but in combination they don't seem to be working...So, let me ask again...
