I thought the MPV codec looked better than PureVideo but I don't see how anyone can use it when it totally ignores the anamorphic flag in mpeg2 streams. It means that most streams are played back at the wrong aspect ratio. Obviously you could set MP's aspect to be wrong to try and account for this but then it will be wrong for non-anamorphic streams.
