Hi all,

Sorry if this has been asked before (as no doubt it has) but how can I get my episodes off my DVD's into myTV?

I have ripped them as iso's, tried ripping them individually (but the audio is always messed up or the videos are split up) and I've gotten to the point where im not sure what to do....

So i tired just putting the iso files into the myTV plugin like you can with the normal videos section - so that when you select the series it just plays the DVD. Can this be done? Because I couldn't find the option lol.

Anyway - sorry this is so blunt, im a real hurry (got a plane to catch ...literally!)

Any helps would be appreciated or even just some alternate suggestions. (though I'd really like to have it all laid out like it is in myTV....with my movies having there own section under videos - outside of myTV)

Cheers.

i have mediaportal set up to play videos with an external player (VLC) and it opens the iso files i have just like a dvd, starts in the menu. only thing is for each disc it only shows up as one episode in the tv series plugin, unless you get shortcuts or playlists to work (i've found with my version of mediaportal it tries to load standard playlist formats directly inside mediaportal but if you use specific vlc playlists which are of the type .xspf, they will load in vlc). i think you can also use an internal vlc plugin within mediaportal that just changes the internal player, havent tried though.
