iso playing in mp and wmp (1 Viewer)

Hi All,

I have been using MP 1.1 for a while to play mkv and avi files. I tried for the first time to play an iso (DVD rip of my daughter's Learn to Read DVDs). It mounted in Daemon Tools Lite and started to play. But then the WMP started playing it as well. The video playing didn't match the audio. When I do something like go to Menu or Pause or anything, the video responds but the audio still plays on like nothing happened.

I then tried to stop the movie and it did stop both audio and video. When I exited MP, WMP was still open and blank.

So I'm thinking that both MP and WMP are playing the iso and when I pause the video, it paused on WMP but MP kept playing on.

I checked Daemon Tools and autostart is disabled.

Hope this makes sense to someone who can tell me how to fix it.

In Control Panel|Hardware and Sound|AutoPlay, set DVD movies to "Take no action". That should prevent WMP from automatically launching when you mount a DVD ISO.

This sounds like the same problem I am having. If you get it resolved please post back to your thread so I can give your solution a try. I will do the same if I figure it out.

thanks alank! that was it. Strange why setting it on Daemon Tools wouldn't prevent it from autostarting.
