Hi All,
Just to notify that in my mediacenter is impossible to listen audio CDs through MediaPortal (1.5.0).
The issue os as much as simple as quite annoying: while playing a CD there is a costant "tik-tik" that can be listen over the audio. What I have noticed is that such noise is syncronized with the read/write light of the hard disk (I have one SSD for the OS and one HD for the data). I honestly don't know which is the relation between the noise and that reading/writing on the HD (I suppose is the SSD).
Please notice that I tried to play the CD outside MediaPortal herefore directly in Windows using Windows Media Player and all run good! No issues with the sound. The reading/writing on the HD is still present but very fast and smooth...
Any suggestion? I'm using WASAPI and the optical exit that is connected to an external power amplifier.
P.S.: I didn't try to play any DVD yet, so I don't know that the issue is valid also for the videos. Music and Videos ripped on the HD have no issues at all.
