Hello,
I have encountered a strange issue when using .cue files in MP 1.2.1. It only affects playback if the cue file refers to multiple music files. Here is an example:
REM GENRE Punk Rock
REM DATE 1989
REM DISCID AC075C0E
REM COMMENT lossless
PERFORMER "Toy Dolls"
TITLE "Wakey Wakey!"
FILE "01 Introduction.flac" WAVE
TRACK 01 AUDIO
TITLE "Introduction"
PERFORMER "Toy Dolls"
INDEX 01 00:00:00
FILE "02 Wakey Wakey Intro.flac" WAVE
TRACK 02 AUDIO
TITLE "Wakey Wakey Intro"
PERFORMER "Toy Dolls"
INDEX 01 00:00:00
FILE "03 Lester Fiddled The Tax Man.flac" WAVE
TRACK 03 AUDIO
TITLE "Lester Fiddled The Tax Man"
PERFORMER "Toy Dolls"
INDEX 01 00:00:00
Etc, etc.
The issue is as follows. If for example, you choose the first track, MP will play the second track; if you choose the second track, MP will play the 3rd track, etc. The MP log file does not show any errors. If, for example, I select the first track, the log file shows that I have played Wakey Wakey!.cue.fake.track.01.flac (i.e. as it should) even though MP actually plays the second track.
If the cue refers to a single container file with music, everything is OK.
This problem occurs regardless of whether I use shares view or library view. In foobar2000 everything plays perfectly. And I should point out that deleting the cue sheet and just playing the individual music files is not an option for me.
Any ideas? Thanks!
