Issue with program guide/TV signal (1 Viewer)

I finally updated to the latest version of Media Portal this morning. I absolutely love it. My local cable channels worked right after install. The program was much faster than past versions an it generally seems to be more reliable. However, I ran into an issue. I have been using MP for about a year and a half but I have never been able to successfully configure xmltv and the program guide (mostly due to my own incompetence).

Today I was determined to get it working. I started working on it and I was making some progress and when I got stuck I got my Brother-In-Law to come over and help me finish the job. We finally got it working and it rocks.
I actually had better luck making myth tv program guide work as I did it all by myself.

Now for the problem. My tuner card is a Hauppage PVR 150 (NON mce version). After the program guide began working we can no longer get a tv signal so the program guide works but there is no picture or sound, just white noise and a screeen full of snow. I do get a No Signal found message when I attemp to watch anything.

Has anyone out there had a similar experience after setting up the program guide?

Any suggestions would be very helpful.

Thanks

    Please use support TEMPLATE.

Also try CVS from 24/3 as seemed to solve a lot of issues in RC3.

No Signal is being reported everywhere, but we need specific info
to help those that the above cvs does not cure. :D

After some further review of the situation, I have noticed a few things.
First, There are local Channels that do work. ABC,CBS,NBC all work. It appears that they are coming in over the air but nothing else works in regards to channels that come over the cable signal.

    Make sure:

    1. Under auto tune tab, the card is set to "United States" and "Cable" (don't do the auto tune though)

    2. Assign the channels to the card

CVS is a snapshot of work in progress, and 24/3 is the date of the CVS.

"mediaportal-cvs-03-25-2006--01-04.rar" Is MediaPortal CVS compiled on March 25 at 1:04 am

You can get CVS snapshots here:
    http://cvs.team-mediaportal.com/

But remember, try to get the standalone version of MP to work first. CVS snapshots are work in progress and may break other things or make some things worse.

Thanks for the info. It is set to cable and United states. The channels programmed were already there from the previous install of Media portal. Everything worked perfectly until i set up the Program guide. I will check out the CVS after I manually go in and delete all the channels and re enter them.

    Thanks
