It's possible create a skin for dual-monitor? (1 Viewer)

Hello. Started to modify the skin BlueTwo of MP 0.2.3.0 for use in a dual-monitor setup.

The nvidia control panel is configured as horizontal extension (resolution end 2048 x 768 pixels).

Modify references.xml with the resolution of 720 x 576 to the resolution of 1440 x 576.

Started to modify myhome.xml doubling controls and changing the position X of the seconds, but when start MP only shows 1 list.

It's possible duplicate controls and they both move at the same time?.

The idea is to create a skin for those of us with a television and an LCD display in our case and view same information differently... For example, with bigger characters in the LCD case and less information.

hey there, this is an interesting approach, but I don't think it would work, sorry.
There are quite a lot of requests for a dual screen system, but at the moment I don't think there are any working solutions.

I always thought the best way would be to modify the LCD plugin, since the screen really is the same as an external LCD or VFD.

Absolutely nothing to do. LCDs case (some with touch screen included) should not be handled as an LCD or VFD. They handled as a normal screen to show ALL information that the creator of skins want to show them.
In addition there is now a solution to use the LCDs case as if it were a large graphic LCD ... This is based on using the plugin C.All along with the program LCDHype, which can create a virtual LCD in a secondary screen. The current problem is that MediaPortal not send all messages and actions to C. All (eg contextual menus) and a lot of things can not be displayed.
