Incidentally, if you can put up with the clunky-ness in configuration, setup and the tweaking, ITV-HD is also watchable with GB-PVR - more here.

is Channel 4 HD free to air yet?

To get ITV HD working, i installed DVB Viewer. When i tried to view any channels i got an error, after little to no googling, i found that i needed to download a filter and slap it into the DVB Viewer filter folder.

Once this was done, i then needed to download the following file:
http://www.cumnockjuniorsfc.com/ITVHD.ini

Import that into your channel list and woohoo, ITV HD I'm watching the sweeden / spain match now! it's perfect. Now we just need to get this channel in media portal, please!! I know we're in code freeze, but this is a BIGGIE!

Unfortunately DVB Viewer isn't an option for me - h.264 channels stutter galore with most of the Video Renderer selections - EVR is the best, but typically only lasts a few minutes before the video stuttering begins. This isn't a base hardware (C2D E6400 + 2GB RAM), graphics card (tried both Intel onboard and separate 8600GT), codec (tried all of CoreAVC, WinDVD, PowerDVD, Elecard) or DVB-S card (tried both an HVR4000 and now a BGT3540) issue; with my current setup I get around 7% CPU when wathing BBC-HD live, but video stutter...stutter...stutter...regardless.

Now...both GB-PVR and Mediaportal seem much better with h.264 channels using EVR than DVB Viewer, but GB-PVR is very clunky and with Mediaportal I'm missing ITV-HD, of course...

Hi,
For all of you dman_lfc has added support for ITV HD as a bug to Mantis, so ""a bit"" patience & time i'm sure it will be in TV-Server too

Hi DJBlu, I went to sf and searched for mediaportal but nothing i could see re the itvhd patch. any help appreciated, i'm probably am being a bit thick!
